Accessible for All

Blockchains can't help people who cannot use them, so enabling easy access is paramount.

Removing Barriers

There are many barriers to full adoption of blockchain technology: digital literacy, network access, and government opposition. EASE will overcome all of these obstacles and more.

Reaching Every User

EASE addresses every major impediment to blockchain adoption.

Digital Literacy

Complexity has been one of the biggest hurdles hindering blockchain adoption. Asking everyday users to navigate confusing and unfamiliar tools is simply not doable for those with lower levels of digital literacy. With the added risk that a misstep could result in a loss of all assets, the likelihood of adoption decreases even more. Unlike other solutions, EASE interfaces are easy to use and understand for all users.

Network Access

Blockchain transactions are much bigger than the API calls used by mobile apps. These can strain thin networks, consuming excessive amounts of data for users, often resulting in higher fees with their data provider. They also require more powerful device processors to engage with networks. EASE replaces on-device signing with a sequestered key management system for better access to networks. Worldwide, 3 billion people lack consistent network availability, which is why EASE aims to lower friction for these communities.

Government Opposition

Blockchain technology cannot reach mainstream adoption while governments oppose it. EASE gives governments a simple tool for regulating accounts without opening the floodgates of government account control. By providing the technical ability for governments to reassign control of an account to a court-appointed custodian, the EASE Protocol allows governments to govern within their jurisdictions, while preserving account owner control in all other situations.
